About FaceShapes.pro
An independent, informational guide to face shapes and styling.
FaceShapes.pro is a small, independent reference site about face shapes. We put together plain-English explanations of the eight face shapes commonly used in styling advice — oval, round, square, rectangle, oblong, heart, diamond, and triangle — along with practical notes on hairstyles, glasses, and necklines that tend to be suggested for each.
The goal is simple: help people quickly understand what the common face-shape terminology actually means, without wading through dozens of inconsistent listicles.
What we cover
Plain-English explanations of all eight common face shapes, plus the hairstyle, glasses, and accessory guidance typically paired with each.
What we don't do
We don't run a photo-analysis tool ourselves, sell products, or offer personalized one-on-one styling consultations.
Our approach
We lean on well-established, widely taught styling conventions rather than trends, and use hedged language instead of absolute claims.
We’re not a detection tool ourselves. If you want help estimating your own face shape from a photo, we point people to the Face Shape Detector, a separate tool built for exactly that.
This site is informational only. It isn’t a substitute for in-person advice from a hairstylist, optician, or dermatologist — see our disclaimer for details.
